The LG Ultra PC is the company’s latest ultrabook. It weights less than 1KG and comes with the same minimalist design seen in most laptops based on Intel’s Ultrabook design.
It is powered by a Intel Haswell Core i5 processor and comes with the option of either a 128GB or 256GB SSD for storage. As for the screen, it is a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display.
The LG Ultra PC is just 13.6mm at its thickest point. It also comes with a super-narrow bezel, which measures just 4.4mm at its thinnest.
The ultra book also comes with a couple of features including Reader Mode. That makes the screen more like paper, which according to LG will reduce the amount of eye strain the user experiences while also lowering the amount of power it uses.
LG also announced that it will be showing off a new hybrid tablet called the Tab-Book 2. It is the follow up to last year’s model and comes with a raft of improvements.
For example, it is lighter at 1.5KG and comes with an 11.6-inch Full HD display. Power-wise, it comes with a fourth-gen Haswell-based Intel Core i5 processor. LG has not yet announced any of the specifications for the processor.
There will also be a smaller version of the tablet hitting the shelves weighing 930g and 13.7mm thick.
The two devices join the other gadgets that LG has announced it will be showing off at the show. Among them is a 27-inch all-in-one PC, which comes with Windows 8.1 and has been designed to act as a TV for when the computer isn’t in use.
